ADS employment services can help you:

ADS provides educational resources for Connecticut individuals with disabilities.

ADS education services include:

• Students who are blind or have low vision: Braille, education, and family support.
• Pre-employment: School-to-work transition support.
• College and beyond: School support and career training.
• Educators: Guidance and best practices for students with disabilities.

ADS wants you to live your most independent life. With specialized services and supports that promote independence, we aim to help you thrive in your community.

ADS community living services include:

• Healthy living: Senior meal services and more for aging individuals.
• Get around: Get public transportation and driver training.
• Community inclusion: For DeafBlind individuals, and more ways to stay involved in your community.

Accessibility is at the heart of the ADS mission. Our services provide information, activities, and environments in a way that is usable for all to fully participate.

Accessibility services include:

• Assistive technology: Vehicle and home modifications, mobility aids, and more.
• Deaf and Hard of Hearing: Counseling services and the interpreter registry.

ADS offers advocacy and self-advocacy support for residents, including:

• Long Term Care Ombudsman (LT COP)
• Benefits Counseling
• Fraud prevention
