Read time: 6 minutes

Level Up is a Connecticut program for youth. It helps eligible students, ages 16 to 22, compete for jobs and gain independence.

We work with schools, families, and the community. Our goal is to prepare students with IEPs, 504 plans, or similar services for new opportunities. The Level Up program gives these students the tools, training, and resources to find their place in the world.

Level Up program services

Level Up counselors or contracted community rehabilitation providers offer our services. These services can take place on or off school grounds. They can be scheduled during or after school hours.

The following pre-employment services are part of the Level Up program:

  • Job exploration
  • Counseling for post-secondary
  • Work-based learning experience
  • Work readiness training
  • Self-advocacy

Please note that the Level Up program does not offer transportation for these services.

  • Be potentially eligible for Vocational Rehabilitation Services and
  • Be between the ages of 16 and 22, and
