Update Contact Information
Address Change for a Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) License, Permit or Registration
Online:
- Go to https://elicense.ct.gov
- Access your account by entering your User Id and Password
- Select Address and General Maintenance under Online Services to submit your address change
- If you need your User Id and Password, submit a request to dcp.online@ct.gov
To report a change of address for a DCP license, permit or registration, send an email to dcp.online@ct.gov and include the following:
- Name
- DCP license, permit or registration type
- DCP license, permit or registration number
- Email address
- Current address of record
- New address
Name Change for an Individual Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) License, Permit or Registration
To report a name change for an individual DCP license, permit or registration, send an email to dcp.online@ct.gov and include the following:
- Current name
- DCP license, permit or registration type
- DCP license, permit or registration number
- Email address
- New name
- A copy of an official court document reflecting the legal name change (marriage certificate, divorce decree) or a copy of a driver's license reflecting the name change
