What does CT DDS do?
The mission of the Department of Developmental Services is to partner with the individuals we support and their families, to support lifelong planning, and to join with others to create and promote meaningful opportunities for individuals to fully participate as valued members of their communities.
The Department of Developmental Services provides supports and services for individuals with intellectual disability and their families. These programs and services include, but are not limited to:

- Health and Dental Services
- Family Services
- Job and Day Services
- Community Living Services
- STEP Program
- Advocacy
- Transportation
