Dr. Brook Lloyd

 

Dr. Brooke Lloyd joined the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) in October, 2014. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Tennessee Technological University, as well as a Master’s degree and a Doctoral degree from Regent University. While completing her doctorate, she worked with children, adolescents, and adults in schools, homes, and outpatient clinics. She completed her APA-Accredited Internship at Utah State Hospital, which is an inpatient psychiatric hospital with rotations in Forensic, Adult, and Adolescent Psychology. After completing her doctorate, she worked as a Postdoctoral Resident and Clinical Psychologist in a Federal Public Health Service Agency in which she collaborated with physicians to provide behavioral health services in a variety of settings including outpatient medical clinics, schools, homeless shelters, and domestic violence shelters. Dr. Lloyd was also an Associate Faculty at Post University’s Master of Science in Counseling and Human Services degree program from 2013-2018 teaching courses in Introduction to Forensic Psychology, Victimology, and Family Systems.  In 2019, Dr. Lloyd was promoted to Supervising Psychologist 1 at DDS for Public Programs.
