Safe Swallowing Train the Trainer

DDS Education Support & Staff Development is pleased to announce another Safe Swallowing Train the Trainer.  It will be held on September 10, 2018 from 9:00-11:30 at Connecticut Valley Hospital, Merritt Hall, Lee Auditorium in Middletown, CT.  The attachment has specific directions and information on who is qualified to attend this training.  As an aside, you cannot bring food or drink into the auditorium for this class.
DDS staff, you are copied to share with the groups you do business with who are eligible to take the course (i.e., Training Task Force, Private Providers, Private Med Admin Coordinators, etc.).  Anyone who wishes to teach the Safe Swallowing Curriculum, must have the titles mentioned in the attachment, and must take this Train the Trainer to qualify.  A maximum of 5 people may attend from any one private agency.  DDS reserves the right to cancel registrations exceeding this limit.
A reminder will be sent a week prior to the training with attachments for you to print and bring to class.  DDS will not be copying these documents.  Please ensure you have the permissions necessary with your IT to receive large documents.  Included will be the PowerPoint presentation, a couple of handouts, and links to policies that were updated in the last year.
There has been a change in the way we are registering these classes.  Please use the below link to register for this course.  Save the email confirmation to cancel your registration, if necessary.    Please do not email the DDS Training email unless there are technical difficulties.
Let us know if you have any questions, and we look forward to seeing you in September.
