Disability Summit 2019

The 3rd Annual Disability Summit was held on Saturday, March 16th at the Mohegan Sun Convention Center. The DDS Self Advocate Coordinators were one of 70 agencies sharing information and resources to assist families of children with disabilities from birth to age 21.

Jossie Torres and Kellie Hartigan shared their expertise with individuals and families on how to be a good self advocate, sharing information about self directing their supports, LifeCourse Planning, and thinking about employment after graduating from high school.
