Inspiring Day at the Capitol

Today was an inspiring and busy day at the Capitol!  The Council on Developmental Services hosted their 2nd Annual legislative breakfast. The Council took the opportunity to honor influential advocates, businesses and legislators who have helped champion the rights of individuals with intellectual disability. Below is a list of the those acknowledged:

Later in the morning, the Arc of Connecticut hosted their 7th Annual IDD Caucus Family Hearing Day. Thank you to all who shared their stories and spoke out to improve the lives of individuals we support!
