NEWINGTON, Conn.- State Transportation Commissioner Ralph J. Carpenter announced today that a Milling and Resurfacing project will be performed on Route 15 (northbound & southbound), from the Meriden Town Line to NB Spruce Brook Road, in Berlin. This project is scheduled to begin on or about Wednesday, September 12, 2007 and continue through Wednesday, September 26, 2007.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday – Friday evenings). No work will be performed on Saturday or Sunday.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
