Bus and rideshare services

Our office is responsible for the CTtransit bus system and for rideshare services. That means we:

  • Oversee the CTtransit and CTfastrak bus systems, including maintenance
  • Contract ADA paratransit services in CTtransit service areas for people with disabilities that prevent
them from using buses
  • Work with private companies to operate express bus services to Hartford, New Haven, and White Plains, NY

We also oversee state bus capital projects throughout Connecticut.
