NEWINGTON, Conn.- State Transportation Commissioner Ralph J. Carpenter announced today that a Ramp Reconstruction project will be performed on the I-395 (southbound) Off Ramp at Exit 93, in Killingly.  This project is scheduled to begin on or about Wednesday, August 15, 2007 and continue through Friday, September 7, 2007.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
