Reconstruction of U.S. Route 7

Ridgefield, CT-         The Department of Transportation announced today that, weather permitting, starting on or about May 14th, the contractor will begin night time drainage operations between Wooster Heights Road and Starrs Plain Road.  Drainage installation work will be completed in one to two weeks. This construction will be performed by Tilcon Connecticut, Inc, of North Branford.

Traffic Operations

Work may require alternating one-way traffic.  If alternating one-way traffic is utilized, it is allowed only between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.  Expect delays during the evening hours.

Motorists should use caution through the work zones and reduce their speed accordingly.

Construction signs, Local Police will be utilized for traffic control.
