Route 222
Rehabilitation of Bridge No. 01847 over Leadmine Brook
Harwinton, CT - The Department of Transportation announced today that, weather permitting, on Thursday, October 11, 2007 and Monday, October 15, 2007, State Route 222, in the Town of Harwinton, will have periodic traffic closures. These closures should not exceed 10 minutes in duration and will commence after the morning rush hour. This operation is necessary to facilitate the placement of concrete for the bridge reconstruction. Rain dates are Friday, October 12th and Tuesday, October 16th, respectively.
Blakeslee Arpaia Chapman, Inc. of Branford, will be performing this work.
Traffic Operations
Motorists are urged to use caution through the work zones and should reduce their speed accordingly.
Construction signs and Local Police will be utilized for traffic control.
