Intermittent Water Shutoffs To Begin
Week Of May 7, 2007
Wilton, Connecticut – Connecticut Department of Transportation officials have announced that night work is scheduled to begin on or about the week of May 7, 2007 on Route 7 between Wolfpit Road and Route 33 for water installation work. The work will result in intermittent water shutoffs in this area through the summer. Aquarion Water Company of Connecticut will notify residents and businesses prior to these events.
The work is part of the overall project to widen Route 7 in Wilton that will accommodate two travel lanes, both northbound and southbound, for a length of approximately three miles from Wolfpit Road to Olmstead Hill Road. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2010.
Please use caution when traveling through the construction work zone to ensure the safety of motorists and construction personnel.
