NEWINGTON, Conn. – Acting Transportation Commissioner Emil H. Frankel announced today that Bridge Maintenance project will be performed on Route I-84, (east and westbound) exit 46 to exit 50, in Hartford. This project is scheduled to take place on Friday, February 15, 2008.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for the project is 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Friday evening).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
