NEWINGTON, Conn. - Acting Transportation Commissioner Emil H. Frankel announced today that a Bridge Maintenance project will be performed on I-91 (southbound) between Exits 27 and 25, in Hartford. This project is scheduled to take place on or about Friday, January 11, 2008 and continue to Saturday, January 12, 2008.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Saturday-Sunday).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
