NEWINGTON, Conn. - Acting Transportation Commissioner H. James Boice announced today that a Bridge Maintenance project will be performed on I-95 (northbound & southbound) between Exits 15 and 17 in Norwalk. This project is scheduled to take place on or about Wednesday, March 19, 2008 & Wednesday, March 26, 2008.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the detour. The regular work schedule for the project is 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Wednesday evenings).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
