·         The Department of Transportation is announcing that construction work is scheduled to begin on September 29, 2008, for the replacement of bridge joints at various locations.

Work will be performed at all times, with the exception of the evening rush hour.

This $1,909,340.00 million project is being performed by Costello Industries, Inc. of Newington, Connecticut under contract with the Department of Transportation.  The anticipated completion date for this project is June 26, 2009.

Motorists are urged to obey the posted speed limit and proceed with caution through this and all other construction work zones.
