NEWINGTON, Conn. - Acting Commissioner H. James Boice announced today that an Overhead Sign Repair project will be performed on I-84 (westbound) just east of Exit 32 (Queen Street), in Southington. This project is scheduled to take place on or about Sunday, March 16, 2008.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday morning).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
