NEWINGTON, Conn.-State Transportation Commissioner Joseph F. Marie announced today that a Milling and Resurfacing project will be performed on Route 14 from the Windham Town Line to the west junction of

Route 97 in Scotland. This project is scheduled to take place on or about Tuesday, August 5, 2008 and continue through Tuesday, September 2, 2008.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday - Friday).   

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
