Route 7, Wilton
Nighttime Alternating One-Way Traffic Pattern Begins
On or About Monday, June 2, 2008
Wilton, Connecticut – Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that there will be alternating one-way traffic on Route 7, between Wolfpit and Deerfield Roads, beginning on or about Monday, June 2, 2008, for drainage work in association with the widening and reconstruction project. The nighttime work is scheduled to take place Monday through Thursday, from 8:00pm to 6:00am, and will last through the summer. Wilton police will be available to direct traffic and assist motorists during this time.
The work is part of the overall project on Route 7 in Wilton that will accommodate two travel lanes, both northbound and southbound, for a length of approximately three miles from Wolfpit Road to Olmstead Hill Road. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2010.
Please use caution when traveling through the construction work zone to ensure the safety of motorists and construction personnel.
