Alternating One-Way Traffic to begin on Route 69 between Cindy Lane and Glendale Dr. in the City of Bristol

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that beginning on Monday October 5, 2009, the Derita Construction Co. will be installing temporary concrete barrier curb on Route 69 between Cindy Lane and Glendale Drive in Bristol.

This will result in the roadway being restricted to alternating one-way traffic, controlled by temporary traffic signals. This restriction will be in effect from October 5, 2009 to December 2, 2009.

The contract was awarded to Derita Construction Co. of Middletown, CT at a cost of $1,178,971.00 on May 26, 2009 and is scheduled to be completed on April 6, 2011.
