Bridge Inspection – I-91 Southbound Exit 30 Off-Ramp in Hartford

The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced today that a routine bridge inspection will be performed on the I-91 (southbound) Exit 30 off-ramp  in Hartford. The inspection is scheduled to take place Saturday May 16, 2009 with a contingency date of Sunday May 17, 2009.  The exit 30 off-ramp will be closed during the inspection process and a detour will be used to redirect traffic.

Traffic control personnel, State Troopers and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists onto the detour routes (Exit 27 to Route 15 north to I-84 East).  The bridge inspection is scheduled to take place between 5:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.  

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
