The State Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on I-84 (westbound) between Exits 7 and 3 in Danbury. This project is scheduled to take place on or about Monday, June 22, 2009 and continue through Wednesday, June 24, 2009. 

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The work schedule for this project is 9:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. (Monday - Wednesday evenings). 

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
