Bridge Maintenance on Route 3 (
The State Department of Transportation announced today that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on Route 3 (Putnam Bridge) in Wethersfield/Glastonbury. This project is scheduled to take place on Saturday, March 7, 2009 and Sunday, March 8, 2009.
The work schedule for this project is as follows, weather permitting:
Saturday, March 7, 2009 – Route 3 Southbound 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Sunday, March 8, 2009 – Route 3 Northbound 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
