Daytime Lane Closures Scheduled for Route 15 at East Rocks Road Bridge between Exit 40 in Norwalk and Exit 41 in Westport

The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced today that Route 15 will be reduced to one lane of traffic from 10 AM to 2 PM from Wednesday April 15, 2009 through Friday, April 17, 2009.

Motorists can expect delays during scheduled lane closures:

- Route 15 Northbound on Wednesday and Thursday

- Route 15 Southbound on Friday

The contractor will be excavating test pits at the bridge as part of the construction work to replace the arch and repair other portions of the structure.
