Drainage Replacement - Route 175 from Beacon Street to Route 71 (Stanley St.) in New Britain
The State Department of Transportation announced today that a Drainage Replacement project will be performed on Route 175 from Beacon Street to Route 71 (Stanley St.) in New Britain. This project is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 and continue through Saturday, October 17, 2009.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday) and on Saturday, October 17, 2009 from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
