I-95 (northbound & southbound) Milling & Resurfacing between Exits 70 and 72 in Old Lyme
The State Department of Transportation announced today that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on I-95 (northbound) between Exits 70 and 72 where the following roads cross over I-95: Whippoorwill Road, Flat Rock Hill Road, four Mile River Road and I-95 (southbound) at Flat Rock Hill Road.This project is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 12, and continue through Thursday, October 15, 2009.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
