I-95 southbound entrance ramp at Exit 12 (Route 136- Tokeneke Road) in Darien, CT Scheduled To Open September 24, 2009
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that the Interstate 95 southbound entrance ramp at Exit 12 (Route 136- Tokeneke Road) in the Town of Darien, CT will be opening on September 24, 2009.
The Contract was awarded to Guerrera Construction of Oxford, CT at a cost of $14,999,995.00 on April 28, 2008 and is scheduled to be completed in May 2010.
The closure was required for the construction of the speed change lane on I-95 between Exits 11 and 13. The opening provides the connection of the acceleration and deceleration lanes of the two opposing ramps at the southbound interchanges of 12 and 11.
