Milling and Paving on I-84 (eastbound) between Exits 30 and 32 in Southington
The State Department of Transportation announced today that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route I-84 (eastbound) between Exits 30 and 32 in Southington. This project is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 21, 2009 and continue through Friday, October 16, 2009.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday – Thursday evenings) and 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Friday evenings).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
