Milling and Resurfacing - Route 14 from Plainfield Town Line to Rhode Island State line in Sterling
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 14 from the Plainfield town line to the Rhode Island state line in Sterling. This project is scheduled to begin on Thursday, August 20, 2009 and continue through Thursday, September 10, 2009.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday - Friday). No work will take place on Friday, September 4 or Monday, September 7, due to the Labor Day weekend.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
