Milling and Resurfacing - Route 254 & SR 807 in Thomaston
The State Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 254 from SR 848 to SR 807 and on SR 807 from Route 254 to Route 222 in Thomaston. This project is scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 26, 2009 and continue through Thursday, August 6, 2009.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is: Milling: 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. and Resurfacing: 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday – Thursday evenings).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
