Milling and Resurfacing - Route 9 (north & south) from Exit 7 (Rte. 82) to Exit 10 (Rte. 154) in Chester, Haddam and Middletown
The State Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 9 (north & south) from Exit 7 (Rte. 82) in Chester to Exit 10 (Rte. 154) in Middletown. This project is scheduled to take place on Monday, July 27, 2009 and continue through Friday, October 9, 2009.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. (Monday – Friday evenings).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
