Milling and Resurfacing - Route 9 (north & south) from Middletown Town Line to Route 372 in Cromwell
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 9 (north & south) from the Middletown town line to Route 372, including the 372 overpass of Route 9, in Cromwell. This project is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 24, 2009 and continue through Tuesday, September 25, 2009.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday – Thursday evenings) and 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (Friday evenings).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
