Milling and Resurfacing on Route 164 from Route 2 to Route 165 in Preston
The State Department of Transportation announced today that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 164 from Route 2 to Route 165 in Preston. This project is scheduled to begin on Monday, September 28, 2009 and continue through Friday, October 16, 2009.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
