Night time Closure of West Avenue in Stamford, CT Scheduled for Sunday October 25, 2009 through Friday October 30, 2009
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that West Avenue between Baxter and Warshaw Place will be closed nightly to traffic from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Sunday, October 25 thru Friday night, October 30, 2009, weather permitting.
The road closure provides enough time for the contractor to reconstruct the roadway and pave it in within 4 days which will minimize the impact to the traveling public.
The Contract was awarded to Anthony Julian Railroad of Bridgeport , CT
