The State Department of Transportation announced today that a paving inspection will be performed on I-91 (northbound) from Route 372 in Cromwell to West Street in Rocky Hill.  This work is scheduled to take place on Friday, October 30, 2009. The rain date would be Monday November 2, 2009.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone.  The regular work schedule for this project is 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Friday evening to Saturday morning) and 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday evening to Tuesday morning).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
