Power Line Upgrade along Route I-84 (east and west) in the vicinity of Exit 71 in Willington
The State Department of Transportation announced today that a Power Line upgrade project will be performed on I-84 (east and west) in the vicinity of Exit 71 in Willington. This project is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August 11, 2009. The rain date would be Wednesday, August 12, 2009. Traffic will be stopped for approximately 10 minutes while the power lines are pulled over the highway.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (Tuesday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
