Resurfacing - Route 53 (Newtown Turnpike) in Weston and Redding Glen Road in Redding
The State Department of Transportation is announcing that a resurfacing project will be performed on Route 53 (Newtown Tpk.) and (Redding Glen Road) in Weston and Redding. This project is scheduled to take place on Monday, July 20, 2009 and continue through Monday, July 27, 2009.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
