The State Department Transportation announced today that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on I-84 (westbound) from Bank Street to end of Bridge over Route 8 in Waterbury. This project is scheduled to occur on Tuesday evening, October 27, 2009.

Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Tuesday evening to Wednesday morning).

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
