Road Resurfacing - Route 40 (north & south) from I-91 to the Hartford Turnpike in North Haven
The State Department of Transportation announced today that a resurfacing project will be performed on Route 40 (north and south) from I-91 to the Hartford Turnpike in North Haven. This project is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 17, 2009 and continue through Tuesday, September 8, 2009.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. (Sunday – Thursday evenings).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
