Traffic Signal Loop Sensor Installation – Route 8 North and South in Winchester
The State Department of Transportation is announcing that a Loop Sensor Installation project will be performed on Route 8 (north and south) ¼ of a mile south of Route 44 in Winchester. This project is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 and continue through Thursday, June 4, 2009.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Wednesday and Thursday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
