Bridge Maintenance - Route 9 (north & south) Between Exits 7 and 10 in Chester/Haddam
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a bridge maintenance project will be performed on route 9 (north and south) between exits 7 and 10 in Chester/Haddam. This project is scheduled to take place on Monday, April 19, 2010 and continue to Thursday, June 10, 2010.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Monday - Thursday evenings). If there are rain cancellations work will be performed on Friday evenings.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
