Completion of the Bridge Replacement on Route 151 over the Moodus River in East Haddam Delayed By Recent Heavy Rains

The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that construction activities for the replacement of Bridge No. 05467, CT Route 151 over the Moodus River, have been impacted by the recent heavy rains and anticipated completion of the project is now August 31, 2010.

DOT Project No. 40-132 was awarded to Loureiro Contractors, Inc. from Plainville, CT at a cost of $1,644,266.50.

The road is closed and a detour will remain in place until completion of the bridge.
