Milling and Paving on Route 66 from
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 66 from Country Lane to Route 316 in Hebron. Milling is scheduled to take place on Friday, April 16, 2010, and resurfacing is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, April 20, 2010 through Friday, April 23, 2010.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Milling (Friday) and 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Resurfacing (Tuesday – Friday).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
