Milling and Resurfacing on Route 66 from Main Street to Route 3 in Middletown
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 66 from Main Street to Route 3 in Middletown. This project is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, September 29, Friday, October 1 and Sunday, October 3, 2010.
Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will be utilized to guide motorists through the work zone. The regular work schedule for this project is 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Wednesday evening), 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. (Friday evening) and 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (Sunday evening).
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the work area.
