Paving operations will begin at 6 pm however lane closures affecting the current travel ways will not occur until 9 pm. Motorists should expect alternating one way traffic through the work zone from 9 pm to 6 am Monday night through Friday night, August 13, 2010.
Upon completion of paving, temporary line stripping will be installed allowing motorists to travel in the permanent configuration. Additional site improvements including curbing, plantings, and traffic signal modifications will be completed over the course of the next month. The final course of pavement will installed prior to project completion which is scheduled for October, 31, 2010.
Advanced warning signage will be in place. Farmington Police personnel will be onsite to assist motorists through alternating one-way traffic during the paving operations.
