Nighttime traffic impacts on I-95 NB in New Haven are scheduled to occur Sunday, March 14th through Thursday, March 18, 2010
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that nighttime traffic impacts will occur on I-95 NB and related interchange ramps between Long Wharf Drive (Exit 46) and the I-91 / I-95 Interchange in New Haven. These traffic impacts are necessary for the installation of structural steel over I-95 for the new Route 34 Flyover Bridge.
Nighttime lane closures and traffic stoppages will occur on I-95 NB between Long Wharf Drive (Exit 46) and the I-91 / I-95 Interchange. Work will occur between the hours of 9 PM and 6 AM, beginning Sunday, March 14th through Thursday, March 18, 2010. Traffic stoppages will occur in 20 minute intervals between the hours of 12 AM and 5 AM. These traffic stoppages are necessary for the installation of structural steel over I-95 for the new Route 34 Flyover Bridge.
Motorists can expect significant delays in the area of the surrounding Interchange including I-95, I-91, and Route 34, surrounding entrance and exit ramps and local roads including Sargent Drive , Canal Dock Road , Long Wharf Drive, North Frontage Road and Church Street . Please plan ahead and consider alternate routes to get to your destination.
