Reconstruction of U.S. Route 7 in Danbury Continues - Traffic Shift Scheduled for the Next Stage of Work the Week of November 1, 2010
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that traffic will be realigned along U.S. Route 7 in Danbury between Starrs Plain Road and Wooster Heights Road on or about November 5, 2010 so that the contractor can move to next stage of construction.
The contractor will be shifting southbound and northbound traffic onto the newly constructed pavement. The actual date of the traffic shift will depend on the weather during this period.
Motorists are urged to obey the posted speed limit and precede with caution through this and all other construction work zones.
