Route 44 Improvements in Avon Scheduled To Move Into Next Construction Stage on April 11, 2010
The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing that traffic will be shifted from the existing roadway to the newly constructed eastbound lanes along Route 44 in Avon from the Avon/West Hartford line to the intersection of Route 10 and Nod Road starting Sunday April 11, 2010.
In conjunction with the new stage of construction, access to and from the eastern junction of Pine Tree Lane will be limited to right turns only.
DOT Project No. 0004-0123 was awarded on April 4, 2008 to Spazzarini Construction Company, Inc of Enfield , Connecticut
